Welcome to the Christmas section of this year's newsletter.  A lot of hard work has gone into it and I can never thank the members of our graphic group enough for their dedication in making this special tribute to all our angels. Also Beth, Brandon's Mommy has once again amazed me at what talent she has in writing a poem for every group, Beth you are a very special person and I thank you for taking the time to create each group a poem.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all of our moderators for their help and commitment in the last year to making these groups a success.  I also thank each and every one of our members, you are all very special caring people and your angels have all touched my heart.  These groups would not be the same without all of you.

I wish you and your family a peaceful Christmas and may the next year bring all you hope for.

On to the good stuff lol, You will find the links to each groups page at the bottom of this page.

Dear Santa

I wrote to you as a child,

And you filled my every wish

I was wondering now,

If I could add to that list

You see I lost my child to heaven

So you don't have to stop this year.

But could you add a few more stops

for friends that I hold so dear?

Santa they don't ask for much

But they hurt so inside.

Could you find a way to lift their hearts?

During this Christmas yuletide?

There will be no comfort for them,

As they nestle in their beds,

No dreams of sugar plums,

dancing in their heads.

Just dreams of their lost children

and the memories they hold so dear.

So Santa, could you grant them

strength for the coming year?

I know it's hard for you to understand their pain.

But their children won't be playing

with dolls or choo-choo trains.

They won't be singing Christmas carols,

with laughter and joy,

So could you leave some peace for them,

in place of all the toys?

I know my wish list is different

then you are accustomed to.

But I know that you will do the best

that you know how to do.

Most of all dear Santa,

I wish for them the holidays best

And into God's Hands I will place the rest.

Love,

Jody Seilheimer (author)

Christmas In Heaven

(Author unknown)

We’re wondering what Christmas in Heaven is like
As we grieve alone and pray,
longing for one who has gone before
To spend Christmas in Heaven today.

And so in our dreams we wander far
From the scenes and sounds of earth
‘Til we catch the strains of the Heavenly choir
As they sing of the Christ Child’s birth.

The Angels we envision there
As they join in the festal gay
And there amid the throng is our Loved One
Spending Christmas in Heaven today.

There’s joy in the faith that teaches
When our life’s work is done
Of a place in Heaven awaiting
And the crown we worked for is won.

In our grief may we learn well the lesson
So to work and suffer and pray
As to merit the joys of our loved one
And to spend Christmas together some day.

My First Christmas In Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees
around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars,
reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with
Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you,
the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description,
to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart.
But I am not so far away,
We really aren't apart.

So be happy for me, dear ones,
You know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift,
from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory
of my undying love.

After all, love is a gift more precious
than pure gold.
It was always most important
in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other,
as my Father said to do.
For I can't count the blessing or love
he has for each of you.

So have a Merry Christmas and
wipe away that tear.
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus
Christ this year.

This poem was written by a 13 year old boy who
died of a brain tumor that he had battled
for four years. He died on December 14, 1997.
He gave this to his mom before he died.
His name was Ben.
